Let’s face it- life gets busy. We get caught up in our routines, work, activities, kids, and errands. While all of these things can certainly be enjoyable, sometimes the weeks go by and we realize we really haven’t spent quality time with our partner. Of course, there are so many things you can do as a couple in your city to spend quality time, but nothing quite hits the same like waking up in a new country. Setting out for the day with no plan, new scenery, delicious food, dessert after every meal, a sunset boat tour, relaxing on a tropical beach with a piña colada, and hiking through the Swiss Alps- it just doesn’t compare to a weekend out back home. Aside from this, it is proven that traveling together as a couple brings you closer and allows you to reconnect and discover new interests together.
Don’t get me wrong, traveling as a couple doesn’t have to have these motives behind it. Maybe it’s your anniversary, a birthday, honeymoon, or an accomplishment and you want to celebrate in an extra special way. Whatever the reason may be, traveling as a couple allows you to disconnect, create memories, and enjoy time together. On vacation, there is no excuse of being too busy to finally learn to make fresh pasta together, go surfing, rent bicycles, or pamper yourself in the spa. If you find yourself in Italy, consider spending the day in a cooking class, complete with wine tasting and cheese pairing. The best part of this is that you can recreate this dish back home, and relive your vacation every time! Or maybe you’re in the Bahamas and have always wanted to go snorkeling but never had the opportunity. Nows your chance! Experience something new together. You don’t have to be good at it. In fact, when you fall of the surfboard or your pizza comes out burnt, I guarantee it will only bring laughter and a funny story. Take a risk and trust each other. If you’re really going all in with this idea, maybe even go skydiving!
Relax and Rejuvenate
If what you really need is pure relaxation, this can be a vacation all in itself.
It’s Friday morning, the day of your flight. You’ve told me that you just need to relax as a couple- pure bliss and tranquility. First of all, we ask that you fill out our questionnaire here. We will then set up a time to have a discovery call, where we get to know you a bit better in order to plan your perfectly curated trip! You can specify destinations you’ve always dreamt of going, your budget, dates, and interests when on vacation.
After this, you will pay your deposit, and we will begin the planning process! After it’s booked, we will send your final invoice, give you more information on what to pack, when to arrive to the airport, and a few clues.
